<\/p>\nWork that we need done consists of:<\/h3>\n\n- Copywriting for websites, social media, and emails<\/li>\n
- Coaching and project management for clients who are writing their own marketing materials<\/li>\n
- SEO<\/li>\n
- Google Ads management<\/li>\n
- Facebook Ads management<\/li>\n
- Technical support for existing WordPress sites, including:\n
\n- Adding new functionality<\/li>\n
- Troubleshooting and fixing errors and glitches<\/li>\n
- Optimizing, streamlining and improving the site<\/li>\n
- Sometimes advising, making suggestions and estimating time needed for a solution<\/li>\n
- Sometimes following instructions to implement a solution that has already been chosen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
- Researching, implementing and configuring third-party tools<\/li>\n
- Writing CSS and HTML<\/li>\n
- Estimated 10-20 hours per week, increasing to 30+ hours as we train together.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Technical skills that would be really helpful are:<\/h3>\n\n- Javascript\/JQuery<\/li>\n
- MySQL and PHP, particularly in the context of WordPress<\/li>\n
- Knowledge of how WordPress works (you understand hooks & filters, query loops, etc.)<\/li>\n
- Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO or Content Marketing<\/li>\n
- Experience with server config, DNS, domain email setup and troubleshooting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Other helpful skills and traits are:<\/h3>\n\n- Sales, management, administration and\/or project management skills are a HUGE plus for all team members.<\/strong><\/li>\n
- Good design sense \u2013 you\u2019ll need to have at least a basic sense of what looks good on a website<\/li>\n
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English<\/li>\n
- Marketing experience or knowledge<\/li>\n
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence are highly valued<\/li>\n
- Being located in the northeastern U.S. is a plus (though not absolutely necessary)<\/li>\n
- Growth mindset and diverse interests are most welcome<\/li>\n
