Website Editing Tutorials
I’m often making tutorial videos for clients, and I’m still happy to make individualized videos upon request. However, it occurred to me that I could offer much more detailed instruction if I made these videos public and made them available to all of my clients and to the general public on our YouTube channel. Please follow along if you would like to learn more about editing the site I have built for you.
Squarespace Help
With the advent of Squarespace 7.1, I expect the editor will be much more intuitive, but many of the sites I’ve built on Squarespace 7.0 will be around for a while yet. In the event that my video tutorial covers aspects of style or look & feel, I will specify which template is being used. The options may not look the same for your site. However, unless you’re a complete DIY’er, most of the things you’ll want to edit will be related to the content anyway, and the tutorials for those aspects should be universal. Watch out for Squarespace 7.0 vs 7.1, though. I’ll try to make videos for both. If you’re struggling with something not covered in the tutorials, contact me! Or try the Squarespace Help Pages.
WordPress Help & Divi Help
As with Squarespace some of the things I’ll demonstrate will be specific to the Divi theme and some will apply to any WordPress site. I’ll try to make it clear which features are specific to the theme. Please feel free to reach out to me or comment if you’re unsure. There are loads of places to go for more good Divi tutorials but I want to take this opportunity to shout out Josh Hall because I’m a big fan of the Divi Chat podcast and I find his videos and posts quite helpful.
